Moving your billing to Stripe

We’re giving teams the option to move their Dailybot billing to Stripe, our payment processor. Switching gives you a faster, more secure checkout and clearer, easier-to-read invoices.

It’s completely optional. Your subscription works exactly the same whether you switch or not — same plan, same price, same features.

Why move to Stripe?

  • Faster, more secure checkout — a streamlined, PCI-compliant payment page.
  • Clearer invoices — itemized, downloadable invoices and receipts.
  • Self-serve billing — update your card, view payment history, and manage your subscription from a single billing portal.

What happens when you switch

  1. You’ll go to a secure Stripe checkout to enter your payment details.
  2. Your plan, billing period, and number of seats stay exactly the same.
  3. Your subscription keeps running with no interruption.
  4. Once Stripe confirms your details, your old billing provider is cancelled automatically — there’s nothing else for you to do.

Good to know before you decide

  • You won’t be charged today. Your first Stripe payment lands on your next renewal date — exactly when you’d be billed anyway.
  • No double billing. You’ll never pay twice for the same period. We only cancel your previous provider after Stripe confirms your first successful charge, so there’s never a gap or an overlap.
  • You’ll need to re-enter your card. Payment details can’t be transferred between providers for security reasons, so you’ll add your card again at checkout.
  • You can keep working as normal during and after the switch.

How long does it take?

The switch usually completes within a few minutes, and always by your next renewal date. While it finishes in the background, you’ll see an “in progress” status in your billing settings. You don’t need to do anything — your subscription keeps running normally the whole time.

How to switch

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Find the Move your billing to Stripe card.
  3. Click Move to Stripe and review the summary.
  4. Confirm, then complete checkout with your payment details.

When it’s done, you’ll see a confirmation that you’re now billed through Stripe.

Frequently asked questions

Will my price change?

No. Your plan, billing period, and number of seats stay exactly the same.

Will my subscription be interrupted?

No. Your subscription keeps running without interruption during and after the move.

Could I be charged twice?

No. We cancel your previous provider only after Stripe confirms your first successful charge, so there’s never a double charge or a coverage gap.

Do I have to switch?

No. Moving to Stripe is optional. If you do nothing, your current billing continues unchanged.

Something went wrong during the switch — what now?

If a switch doesn’t complete, nothing changes and you are not charged. You can try again from the billing card, or contact support if the problem continues.
