Connect ClickUp to Dailybot

Connect ClickUp so Dailybot automations and check-in workflows can use tasks, status changes, and workspace activity in triggers and actions.

Before you start

  • You need Org Admin access in Dailybot.
  • You need permission to authorize ClickUp for the workspace or team you manage.
  • Decide which ClickUp Workspace and Space Dailybot should access.

Steps

  1. In Dailybot, open Integrations and select ClickUp (or add a ClickUp action inside an automation and choose Connect).
  2. Sign in to ClickUp when redirected and approve the connection.
  3. Select the workspace and spaces Dailybot may read or update.
  4. Save and create a test automation (for example notify a channel when a task status changes) before rolling out broadly.

Common uses

  • Post task updates to a check-in channel when work moves to Done.
  • Remind owners when high-priority tasks stall.
  • Combine ClickUp events with standup questions in advanced workflows.

Troubleshooting

  • Reconnect after ClickUp admin rotates API tokens or removes the app.
  • Missing spaces — Re-authorize and re-select spaces; new ClickUp spaces are not included until you update the integration.
  • Wrong workspace — Multiple ClickUp workspaces require picking the one your engineering team actually uses.
