Organization Labels

Organization Labels

Labels are a shared taxonomy for your workspace — attach them to Forms, Automations, and Check-ins so teams can filter, organize, and report consistently.

Concept Scope Entitlement What it does
Labels Organization Labels feature enabled for the org Shared tags everyone sees on entities. Managed in Settings → Labels.
Featured Private (per user) Any authenticated member Pin items to the top of your home lists. Toggle the star on any row.
Saved views Private (per user) Any authenticated member Named filter presets on Forms, Automations, or Check-ins home.

Guests cannot create or assign Labels.

Manage Labels in Settings

  1. Open Settings → Labels.
  2. Create a label — name, color, optional description.
  3. Archive labels you no longer assign (existing assignments stay visible).
  4. Delete (admins only) when a label has zero attachments.

Open a label’s Associated items modal to see every form, automation, and check-in using it (respecting your visibility).

Assign and filter

  • Assign from any form, automation, or check-in detail panel — pick one or more labels.
  • Filter home lists with the Labels picker (match-any — an item matches if it has at least one of the selected labels; same as the public labels= API filter).
  • Combine with Featured and saved views for personal workflows.

Public API

Integrators can manage Labels via the public API, the Dailybot CLI (dailybot label …), or the dailybot-labels agent sub-skill. See /developers/api/labels.
