Zapier integration guide

Dailybot’s Zapier integration lets you connect check-in responses to thousands of apps. Trigger automated workflows whenever a team member completes a follow-up response.

Use cases

  • Create a row in Google Sheets with every check-in response
  • Display daily responses on a dashboard or big screen
  • Send an SMS to a manager when a response contains a blocker
  • Log responses to a CRM, Notion database, or Airtable
  • Post response summaries to a different Slack channel or email

Detailed setup

Step 1: Get your API key

  1. Go to Organization Settings → Integrations
  2. Navigate to the API Keys section
  3. Generate a new key or copy an existing one

Step 2: Create a Zap

  1. Go to Zapier and create a new Zap
  2. Search for Dailybot in the trigger app selector
  3. Select the New Response Completed trigger event

Step 3: Authenticate and configure

  1. Paste your Dailybot API key when prompted
  2. Choose which check-ins (follow-ups) to monitor
  3. Test the trigger — at least one response must exist to test successfully

Step 4: Connect your destination app

  1. In the “Then do this…” section, select the destination app
  2. Map the Dailybot response fields to the destination
  3. Test and activate your Zap
