Zapier integration guide
Dailybot’s Zapier integration lets you connect check-in responses to thousands of apps. Trigger automated workflows whenever a team member completes a follow-up response.
Use cases
- Create a row in Google Sheets with every check-in response
- Display daily responses on a dashboard or big screen
- Send an SMS to a manager when a response contains a blocker
- Log responses to a CRM, Notion database, or Airtable
- Post response summaries to a different Slack channel or email
Detailed setup
Step 1: Get your API key
- Go to Organization Settings → Integrations
- Navigate to the API Keys section
- Generate a new key or copy an existing one
Step 2: Create a Zap
- Go to Zapier and create a new Zap
- Search for Dailybot in the trigger app selector
- Select the New Response Completed trigger event
Step 3: Authenticate and configure
- Paste your Dailybot API key when prompted
- Choose which check-ins (follow-ups) to monitor
- Test the trigger — at least one response must exist to test successfully
Step 4: Connect your destination app
- In the “Then do this…” section, select the destination app
- Map the Dailybot response fields to the destination
- Test and activate your Zap
Requirements: Your Dailybot organization must have a billing plan that includes the Integrations feature. You also need a Zapier account (free tier works for basic Zaps).
